Text generation for Endless Visual Novel uses GPT-J / GPT-NeoX. We will have additional larger models available in the future.
How are the visuals generated?
The sprites and backgrounds are generated using diffusion models like Stable Diffusion. In addition, the language models are utilized in prompting to generate characters and backgrounds that fit the specific story and setting.
How is the music generated?
We use a variety of neural nets to generate midi samples which will then be further post-processed to improve the quality.

How much will it cost?
We have three subscription tiers: Free, Voyager, and Creator. Players in the Free tier will be able to play a selection of public stories made by others. Players in the Voyager and Creator tiers can experience their own AI-generated adventures in worlds of their own creation. The pricing for these tiers will be adjusted during the development.
How are my stories kept private?
We use the highly secure encryption algorithm AES-256 to keep your stories secure while they are stored on our server. This means that even the NSA won't be able to read your stories, much less us.
